Zhou Yi is an artist who captures casts of people’s body parts, turning them into truly personalized jewelry.

At the BodyMemory Clinic in a Beijing hutong, she turns bodies into wearable art.

She tells Inkstone that it’s a way of preserving and capturing the emotions and memories we bring to our bodies.

She thinks the popularity of her project represents an increasing level of self-awareness among Chinese youth.
